I need to save money... we got invited to go to South Africa for part of Spring Break, to do a study abroad excursion. How insane is that? On top of TJ, Alison and I heading out to Russia for 10 days. Amazing stuff.

For now, Christmas time in Strasbourg is amazing.

I got a Canon S3 IS to take back to Europe and I wanted to test it out. I told Dakota that I'd only let him in out of the rain if he posed for me. Needless to say, I love this camera.

We just fucking BLITZED across France, from Nice (waaaay down south on the French Riviera) 13 hours to Antwerp @ 140 Km/h the whole way.

We had 5 people in a volvo station wagon that we slept in, in Normandy.

We picked up with 2000km on it. When it goes back to Amsterdam tomorrow, it will have nearly 5500km. Damn.

ROAD TRIP. THROUGH FRANCE & GERMANY. THIS WEEKEND.

Just got into London from Dublin. Here untl the 29th, off to Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Bratislava.

i don't think i've ever been in so much pain in my life :-(

i had a stomachache last night, but didn't think it was a big deal, i woke up at 9 and vomited, slept until 1 pm, vomited again and now i have increasingly sharp stabs of pain in my stomach, esp. if i sit up.

if you have any advice, let me know :\ i don't want to have to find a doctor quite yet.

hello from Belgium!

It is 3:30 AM and I cannot sleep.

Belgian boys = yum. I am not sure about the chocolates yet.

I'll be in Belgium in 12 days. It is exciting and terrifying all at once, I can't sleep and I just want to spend all day packing, or thinking about what to pack. I've been working at Arctic trying to keep myself busy, but it doesn't work all that well.

I booked a hotel the other night, because I arrive in Antwerp on the 29th of January, but can't get into my flat until February 5th. The Hotel Florida, it makes me think of Hotel California :-[

Mostly this is to say that I have nothing useful to say, except I've got my website running, Highway-Girl.net, gratuitous use of the Hip song.

Maybe I'll be a better space on your friendslist when I get over there. I'll try harder, I promise.

It was time for a change of pace and I am no longer smokinggun, and skywars it is.

And I am totally bummed out that I couldn't get tickets for the Winter Classic. 75,000 seats gone in 40 minutes. :'(
